MISTERIOUS INDOCHINA

Day 1. Lunch - soup pho)

Arrival to Hanoi. Meeting with an Englush-speaking guide.
After a short rest, a sightseeing tour of Hanoi with a visit to the Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam, One-Pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, Thang Vo Temple, the West Lake, an hour rickshaw ride through the ancient quarters of Hanoi. In the evening, visit the water puppet theater.
Return to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Breakfast in the hotel.
Meeting with the guide at the hotel, transfer to Halong Bay. Halong, with its more than 3,000 islands, is one of Vietnam’s natural wonders, recognized by UNESCO in 1994 as a world heritage site. It takes 3.5 hours to get to the Bay with a stop at a ceramic factory.
Boat trip with a visit to the cave of the "Palace of Heaven", a floating fishing village. Lunch with dishes made from fresh seafood. You can admire the magnificent scenery of Halong. Sea bathing and return to Hanoi in the evening.

Day 3. (Breakfast)

Тransfer with a guide to Hanoi airport.  Flight from Hanoi to Luang Prabang,
Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. After a short rest we will climb to the top of Mount Fousi to visit the sacred gilded stupa, admire the sunset over the city and the Mekong River. Then we visit the night market, where you will find excellent local handmade textiles. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4. (Breakfast)

Early breakfast. Participation in the ritual of "feeding the monks", in which the monks lined up in procession and collect alms (sticky rice) from local residents. Laos is the only country where this ancient tradition has been preserved. Then you can visit the local market where Lao tea, vegetables and fruits, and buffalo products are sold.
Then we will visit the ancient temples of the city: Wat Wisun, Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Seng and the low-roof temple of Wat Sietong, which is an example of the classical architecture of Luang Prabang. On the boat, we go upstream the Mekong River, where we will have a beautiful view of the countryside of Laos. Then we will visit the mysterious Pak U caves. On the way back we will stop in the village of Ban Hangai, where rice wine is produced. Upon return, we will visit villages  Pak Siengpek and Ban Hang Khong, which are known for manual papermaking. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5. (Breakfast)

After breakfast, we will visit the National Museum (closed on Tuesdays), the former royal palace, reflecting the wealth of Lao culture. Free time till the transfer to the airport wiht the guide. Flight to Siem Reap.
Arrival to Siem Reap. Upon arrival meeting the guide, transfer to the hotel.

Day 6. (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel visit to Angkor Thom - the ancient capital of Khmer Empire (XII century),
- The southern gate: Bayon temple is unique for its 54 towers, decorated with more than 200 sculptures of smiling faces of Avolokitesvara,
- The Temple of Baphuon is located directly to the north of Bayon the pyramidal reproduction of the mythical mountain Meru,
- Royal Residence Pimeanakas,
- The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King,
- Fairy Ta Prohm temple frozen in the arms of the rhizomes of gigantic fig-trees.
The tour will continue by visiting the famous Angkor Wat, which is a World Heritage site since 1992, it is widely known for its magnificence. The temple is famous for the world's longest bas-reliefs on the walls of the outer gallery with scenes of Hindu mythology.
Then visit the temple of Backeng and watch the romantic sunset from the mountain of the same name.
Welcome dinner with Apsara show in the restaurant.

Day 7. (Breakfast, Diinner)

After breakfast at the hotel a trip on a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake - the biggest lake in Indochina. There you will visit the floating village. Rest in local markets or visit the Artisan d'Angkor workshop to see wood and stone carving. Transfer with guide to Siem Reap Airport. Flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Meeting the guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Ho Chi Minh City  - "Paris of the East" - "The southern capital of Vietnam" is the largest city in Vietnam, the largest economic and cultural center. In the evening, a walk with a dinner in the floating restaurant on the boat "Saigon", cruise on the river (additional fee). Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8. (Breakfast)

Breakfast in the hotel.
Free time.
Transfer with a guide to the airport. End of the tour.

Accomodation in the hotels according to the program, individual transfers with an English-speaking guide according to the program (car with air conditioning), excursions with an English-speaking guide according to the program, entrance tickets to the sights according to the programm, meals occording to the program, drinking water during the excursions.
