Day 1.

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. After a short rest we will climb to the top of the Mount Fousi to visit the sacred gilded stupa, admire the sunset over the city and the Mekong River. Then we will visit the night market, where you will find excellent local handmade textiles. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 2. (Breakfast)

Early breakfast. Participation in the ritual of "feeding the monks", in which the monks lined up in procession and collect alms (sticky rice) from local residents. Laos is the only country where this ancient tradition has been preserved. Then you can visit the local market where Lao tea, vegetables and fruits, and buffalo products are sold.
Then we will visit the ancient temples of the city: Wat Wisun, Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Seng and the low-roof temple of Wat Sietong, which is an example of the classical architecture of Luang Prabang. On the boat, we go upstream the Mekong River, where we will have a beautiful view of the countryside of Laos. Then we will visit the mysterious Pak U caves. On the way back we will stop in the village of Ban Hangai, where rice wine is produced. Upon return, we will visit villages  Pak Siengpek and Ban Hang Khong, which are known for manual papermaking. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3. (Breakfast)

After breakfast, we will visit the National Museum (closed on Tuesdays), the former royal palace, displaying the wealth of Lao culture. Free time to the transfer till the airport.
