Day 1.
Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. After a short rest we will climb to the top of the Mount Fousi to visit the sacred gilded stupa, admire the sunset over the city and the Mekong River. Then we will visit the night market, where you will find excellent local handmade textiles. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2. (Breakfast)
After breakfast we will visit ancient temples Wat Wisun, Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Cientong with its low roof, which is the example of classic architecture of Luang Prabang. On the boat wewill go upstream the Mekong River to get acquainted with rural life of Laos. Then we will visit the mysterious caves of Pak W. On the way back we will stop at the village Ban Hangai, where rice wine is produced. Upon return, we will visit the villages Ban Sienglek and Ban Hang Khong famous for the manual production of paper. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Early breakfast. Participation in the ritual of "feeding the monks", in which the monks lined up in procession and collect alms (sticky rice) from local residents. Laos is the only country where this ancient tradition has been preserved. Then you can visit the local market where Lao tea, vegetables and fruits, and buffalo products are sold.
Today you will visit the local villages of Lao ethnic minorities Ban Oau,Lalum, Pan Fapene and Khmu, the village of Hmong Pan Ou. We will arrive at the Huangsi Warefalls, where you can cool off and swim or stroll along the forest trails. After returning to Luang Prabang, we will visit the village of Zangkong, famous for its silk products. We return to the city late in the evening to watch the sunset at Wat Sivosapat. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4. (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we will visit the National Museum (closed on Tuesdays), the former royal palace, displaying the wealth of Lao culture. Free time till the transfer to the airport.
